The first time I met Peter was at the SuperLeague tournament in Istanbul, Turkey. I was a bit star-struck since he was a super star in the world of Muay Thai and kickboxing and I was just a fan trying to make a living as a reporter, TV-commentator etc.
But Peter was a TRUE gentleman – acting like we were friends and appreciating the work I did for SuperLeague and magazines world wide. At this time Peter didn’t have a fighter nick name so I came up with ‘the Gentleman’ as it suited his personality perfectly.
At the time when Pete was active he was regarded by most as THE best Muay Thai fighter to come out of England.
Today the Gentleman is the founding Co-Director of Evolution Leisure where he teaches Muay Thai classes.
